this is a feature page on the popular Larson storm doors
Larson Secure Elegance doors are claimed to be made with a special type of security glass that is reinforced with a KeepSafe plastic
interlayer, which is invisible to the eye. The tough plastic interlayer is produced using heat and pressure to bond a
polyvinyl butyral (PVB) plastic interlayer between two panes of tempered glass thereby creating a glass sandwich for Larson storm doors.
Larson Manufacturing is apparently the first storm door company in the world to pick up on this technology and
incorporate it into a line of consumer storm doors. Located in Brookings, S. D., Larson Manufacturing is apparently
America's largest manufacturer of storm doors and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Why Larson storm doors
Larson claim to build craftsmanship into every detail of their doors. Inside and out, they claim that Larson doors
combine the best
qualities of remarkably durable construction and exceptional fit and finish. When you buy Larson storm doors, they say that
you're getting an addition to your home that's as durable as it is good-looking. Apparently, it's been that way for more
than 40 years.
Style and appearance of Larson storm doors
Larson claim to offer the widest range of styles and colours that allow you to match a door to the look and feel of your
home. Finding a door that looks as though it was custom-made for your home is apparently as easy as a trip to a
Larson-dealer. They say that it's the details that put the finishing touch on the appearance of your entrance so they hide the screws
on either side of your new storm door and use colour-matched trim on their Classic-Seal series.
Ventilation
Larson's Screen Away doors offer a retractable screen that hides into a small cassette at the top of the door.
The screen is claimed to easily roll down to provide you ventilation.

Security
Many Larson storm doors feature inside night locks or keyed deadbolt locks for added security. Send the message that your home
is well-guarded while at the same time creating an entrance that will look fantastic. You can also make a strong, powerful
statement and feel secure inside your home with Larson Security Series Storm Doors. Engineered from T-6 heat-treated
heavy-gauge aluminum, Larson's security bars are apparently strong. Their tests have shown that each bar withstands pulls
in excess of 250 pounds.
Durability
Larson wood core doors apparently feature a high-impact resistant solid wood core. They claim that your door won't twist, rattle, dent, warp or
sag. Critical areas are apparently treated with a special sealant to keep moisture out for years of dependable use.
Energy Efficiency
Keep the heat inside. They claim that all Larson wood core and injected foam insulated storm doors provide that extra barrier against
the worst weather. Larson storm doors are claimed to be exceptionally efficient energy savers.
Lifetime Warranty
They stand behind their doors with their claim of one of the best warranty programs available. Many Larson Storm Doors
are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
