UPVC double glazed security doors UK

The UK housing stock appears to be a collection of white plastic windows and doors ... let's hope the trend changes in the future ! but what security issues do you need to think about?

Hookbolts and interlocks on the floating side are the minimum security requirements. Double-glazing doors and windows are substantially more difficult to break into than conventional windows (hardly surprising considering that there are two panes of glass to get through) and represent quite a challenge to burglars. However, the other side of the coin is that security doors UK are more difficult to break out of in an emergency. Manufacturers and suppliers are aware of customers' security concerns and offer a variety of locks and fastenings which can be customized to suit your needs.
